Meet the Coaches
Matt Brooks, Aquatics Director
matt@wightmantennis.org Matt first joined Wightman part-time in 2018 before becoming the Aquatics Director in 2019. A lifelong athlete and certified Water Safety Instructor, Matt brings great leadership and enthusiasm to the pool, along with several years of coaching and teaching experience. Prior to joining Wightman's staff, Matt held coaching and teaching positions in the area:

Tatum O'Leary
Tatum started swimming competitively at age 7 for the Framingham Swim Team during the summers and later joined Crimson Aquatic Club (formerly Shawmut Aquatic Club). During high school she competed on the varsity swim team and was a senior captain, capturing the Bay State Conference Championship and the MIAA Sectionals Championship. Tatum was a two-time Bay State Conference All-star. Prior to her swimming career Tatum trained as a diver for 2 years on Dolphin Diving Team. She has been around aquatics her whole life and is passionate about sharing her love of the sport with others. In addition to Wightman, Tatum has coached and taught for several years:

Chrystal Begay
chrystal@wightmantennis.org Chrystal has worked at Wightman since 2001, with a leave from 2008-2011 while she lived in New York. A swim instructor for over 15 years, Chrystal is a certified USA Swimming Coach and has coached swimmers of all ages and abilities, from Learn-to-Swim to high school state-level competitors.
