![]() Matt Brooks, Aquatics Director
Matt first joined Wightman part-time in 2018 before becoming the Aquatics Director in 2019. A lifelong athlete and certified Water Safety Instructor, Matt brings great leadership and enthusiasm to the pool, along with several years of coaching and teaching experience. Prior to joining Wightman's staff, Matt held coaching and teaching positions in the area:

![]() Chrystal Begay
Chrystal has worked at Wightman since 2001, with a leave from 2008-2011 while she lived in New York. A swim instructor for over 15 years, Chrystal is a certified USA Swimming Coach and has coached swimmers of all ages and abilities, from Learn-to-Swim to high school state-level competitors.

Cory Grimes
Cory has worked at Wightman Tennis Center since 2003. He is a certified Water Safety Instructor and teaches private and group swim lessons. He is also a NASM certified personal trainer with additional certifications in balance training, core training, neuromuscular stretching, and optimum performance training for seniors and youths.
Cory has been swimming his entire life and was captain of the Lexington High School's Middlesex League Championship swim team in 2004. His favorite events were the 100 butterfly and 500 freestyle. Cory graduated from the University of Vermont in 2008 with a degree in business administration.
