JUNIOR PROGRAMS
JUNIOR TENNIS DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM Wightman's Junior Tennis Development Program uses the QuickStart Tennis Program, an exciting new play format for learning and playing tennis. It is designed to bring children ages 3+ to the game by utilizing smaller racquets, slower and lighter balls, shorter court dimensions and modified scoring — all tailored to the age and size of the child. WIGHTMAN TENNIS ACADEMY For the player with at least 2 years of high school team competition and/or USTA tournament experience, this clinic will focus mostly on advanced drills with emphasis on point play and strategy as well as advanced footwork and conditioning. WEEKLY ADULT CLINICS Wightman offers a variety of weekly clinics for adult players of all abilities: Novice Clinics, Cardio Tennis Clinics, 105 Clinic, Stroke of the Week, Advanced Clinics and more. TEAMS Wightman participates in several competitive leagues for men and women:
COMPETITIVE TENNIS In addition to teams, Wightman holds two club championships each year. The Indoor Club Championship typically takes place in late winter; the Outdoor Club Championship is held in late summer or early fall. |
